Shrek the Third

“It’s good to be the king,” someone once said, but it wasn’t Shrek the ogre, who wants no part of ruling the land of Far Far Away, even though he’s now married to Princess Fiona and his father-in-law, King Harold, has just died suddenly. How Shrek, aided by pals Donkey and Puss in Boots, finds a solution to his dilemma is the subject of the third movie in the popular DreamWorks series. Close Encounters of the Third Kind: 30th Anniversary Ultimate Edition

This anniversary edition of Steven Spielberg’s exhilarating 1977 movie contains three versions of the film: the original theatrical film, a re-edited 1980 edition for VHS (which included a new ending showing Richard Dreyfuss aboard the alien spaceship) and a 1998 director’s cut. This edition also includes a retrospective documentary on the making of the movie.
