Ocean’s Thirteen

Director Steven Soderbergh, stars George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon and Don Cheadle and the rest of the gang are back for another heist and caper, but this time they’re up against a tough and smart Las Vegas casino boss played by Al Pacino. Extra features include additional scenes, the documentary “Vegas: An Opulent Illusion” and a tour of the casino hosted by producer Jerry Weintraub.

Shrek the Third

“It’s good to be the king,” someone once said, but it wasn’t Shrek the ogre, who wants no part of ruling the land of Far Far Away, even though he’s now married to Princess Fiona and his father-in-law, King Harold, has just died suddenly. How Shrek, aided by pals Donkey and Puss in Boots, finds a solution to his dilemma is the subject of the third movie in the popular DreamWorks series. Bonus features include “Shrek’s Guide to Parenthood,” deleted scenes, and interactive games.

Close Encounters of the Third Kind: 30th Anniversary Ultimate Edition

This anniversary edition of Steven Spielberg’s exhilarating 1977 movie contains three versions of the film: the original theatrical film, a re-edited 1980 edition for VHS (which included a new ending showing Richard Dreyfuss aboard the alien spaceship) and a 1998 director’s cut. This edition also includes a retrospective documentary on the making of the movie.

Amazing Grace

DVD, $29.98

Welsh actor Ioan Gruffudd gives a powerful performance as William Wilberforce, one of the early 19th Century leaders in English Parliament who pushed to abolish the slave trade in the British Empire — and then slavery itself. The DVD comes with interactive study guides, the documentary “How Sweet the Sound: The Making of Amazing Grace,” a commentary by director Michael Apted and cast members, and more.

La Vie en Rose

Marion Cotillard stars in writer-director Olivier Dahan’s biopic about legendary French singer Edith Piaf. It details Piaf’s rise from extreme poverty to international acclaim as well as the loves and losses of her life. The DVD features the documentary “Stepping Into Character,” which examines Cotillard’s transformation into her famous character.
