1. No. 13 Hawaii at Nevada
10 p.m. Friday, ESPN2
Not to throw sand on Colt Brennan & Co., but there’s a reason the Warriors are undefeated: Their opponents are a combined 15-56. Only Northern Illinois (opponents 25-55) has played an easier schedule. Nevada, however, has a winning record (5-4).
2. No. 7 Ohio State at No. 23 Michigan
11 a.m. Sat., WLS-Ch. 7
If it makes Lloyd Carr feel any better — and it won’t — LSU coach Les Miles said of alma mater Michigan on ESPN Radio: “I’ll root for that team, not only this Saturday, but every Saturday that I’m alive.”
3. Northwestern at No. 20 Illinois
11 a.m., ESPN

4. No. 1 LSU at Mississippi
2:30 p.m., WBBM-Ch. 2
The word “restless” does not begin to describe the Ole Miss natives. They all but rebelled after the school said coach Ed Orgeron would return for a fourth season. Just 23,283 showed up for Ole Miss’ Nov. 3 victory over Northwestern State.
5. No. 18 Boston College at No. 15 Clemson
6:45 p.m., ESPN2
The winner goes to the ACC title game. I know, you probably don’t care.
6. No. 3 Oklahoma at Texas Tech
7 p.m., WLS-Ch. 7
Want to get a rise out of Texas Tech coach Mike Leach, whom the Big 12 fined $10,000 for criticizing last week’s refs? Tell him Saturday’s officials live in Norman.
