Chicago: Frigid daybreak temps: -4 (degrees) far west to 14 (degrees) lakefront. Remaining cold with increasing cloudiness. Snow develops in far western suburbs late this afternoon then reaches Chicago proper just after sunset. Steady snow for 6-8 hours at night accumulating 2-4″ before tapering to flurries.
