I LOVE …
… being at a Chicago Symphony Orchestra performance expecting to hear a wonderful virtuoso and as a bonus hearing a first chair play his part so magnificently it takes my breath away.
— Elaine Phillips, Flossmoor
… the Marathon gas station at Milwaukee and Waukegan [7300 N. Waukegan Rd.] in Niles. They still come out and pump your gas and wipe your windows when you drive up to the pump! They will even check and add oil, wiper fluid and air.
— Betty Wilfong, Chicago
I HATE …
… revelers who throw their beer bottles on my lawn. In a city with every house within a block of an alley with garbage cans, there is only one reason for litter — laziness.
— Jerry Caldwell, Chicago

— Arlene C. Hogan, Naperville
