Want to get the rock-star treatment? At some local hotels, you can.
In partnership with WXRT (93.1-FM), Hotel Monaco offers a rock-star suite (pictured here) that features a red velvet couch, zebra-stripe carpeting, a TouchTunes jukebox, a Sony 52-disc CD player and an electric guitar. The two-room suite costs $399 to $599 a night, according to General Manager Nabil Moubayed. Britney Spears has stayed in the suite, Moubayed said.
At Hotel Sax, the celeb packages include two rock-star-inspired options packed with perks and special access to the hotel’s Crimson Lounge.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers suite package ($3,000 for a two-night stay) includes, among other things, tube socks, a case of Heineken, a juice bar with a smoothie-tender, an acoustic guitar and access to the Foundation Room at the House of Blues. The Jennifer Lopez package ($2,750 for a two-night stay) offers in-room spa services, bath turndown service, white lilies, apple pie and chocolate chip cookies. Both packages feature one-room suites.
