Saturday night’s all right for … wrestling? It is for Pro Championship Wrestling, at least.

PCW takes its body-slamming action to Midlothian’s Don Preston Community Center at 6 p.m. Saturday, and it is bringing along Tammy Lynn “Sunny” Sytch. Sunny, formerly of the WWE and making her debut with PCW, is vowing to help one lucky wrestler win a title.

Could it be one of these PCW wrestlers?

RedEye had them fill out our survey.

RICHARD JENIG, A.K.A. RICK KNIGHT

Age: 38; Hometown: South suburbs

Wrestling experience: 19 years

Titles: Have held titles all over the world.

How did you get started in pro wrestling?

I started wrestling as a way to make money while I was going to college.

What’s your day job?

Running PCW is my full-time job.

Your ultimate goal in wrestling is …

… to get out healthy enough to still be able to enjoy the second half of my life. (I’ve got two years left ’til retirement.) Also getting out without ever having to take illegal drugs, such as steroids, painkillers and sleeping pills is a personal goal.

There is less emphasis on actual wrestling and too much on bad acting and bad skits.

In true pro wrestler fashion, do some trash talking to your PCW rivals.

Shawn Davis, you have all these little 10- and 12-year-old girls screaming your name, while I’ve got their mothers screaming mine.

“HOT BOD” SHAWN DAVIS

How did you get started in pro wrestling?

It was always a dream of mine to be a pro wrestler, and one of my friends asked me if I would be interested in it. I went for a meeting back in 2005, and two days later, I started my training. It’s the best job ever.

What’s your day job?

I am a wrestler full time, although I used to work at an animal hospital.

Your ultimate goal in wrestling is …

I became a pro wrestler for the love of the sport. Right now I’m having too much fun just living out a dream. Not a lot of people my age can say that.

When I was growing up, wrestling was huge. It got that way because there was more that one company. There is and always will be WWE. But in the ’80s and ’90s there were WCW and ECW. There was competition, and that’s what made wrestling bigger than ever in the mid-’90s.

I don’t trash talk to rivals, I let my action inside the ring do the trash-talking for me.

PAUL MYERS, A.K.A. PL MYERS

Wrestling experience: 8 years

I miss the Saturday-morning WWF TV wrestling shows, and the promos with the wrestlers talking about them coming to the Rosemont Horizon every month.

Let me make this crystal clear, I am PL Myers “The Shot to the Top” pro wrestling manager extraordinaire, and everyone should realize this by now, including you. The Chicago Connection is everything you’re not and nothing that you’ll be.
