The Fish ‘n Flush Toilet Tank, according to its Web site, “turns your toilet into a nautical wonderland.”
The same could probably be said about potty-training a little boy.
But the Fish ‘n Flush is just as entertaining and more fun.
Made of heavy plastic, it’s a 2 1/2-gallon aquarium that wraps around a standard toilet tank. It comes with two artificial plants, a filter system with a pump, and flush and fill valves. (No, not that kind of flush.)
There are obvious drawbacks — the tank’s volume is limited, there’s no heater, and fragile types of fish would be listed as endangered species as soon as they hit the water — but still, there’s a compelling oddness to this thing.
It sells for $299 (an LED light system is an additional $25) and can be ordered at fishnflush.com/order.asp.
