* Paris Hilton’s little brother, Barron Hilton, was arrested Tuesday in Los Angeles on charges of driving under the influence, authorities said. The Associated Press reported that Hilton, 18, was released on $20,000 bail after he registered a blood-alcohol level of 0.14. The state limit for drivers 21 and over is 0.08. Hilton is also being investigated on felony charges of carrying a fake license. Paris Hilton has already served time for her own DUI.

*Lenny Kravitz was taken to a Miami Beach, Fla., hospital Tuesday and will postpone his upcoming European tour due to a bout of bronchitis, his spokeswoman said. *An appellate court has upheld Ronald Isley’s 37-month federal prison sentence for tax evasion. The 66-year-old singer had argued that his 2006 sentence was unreasonable due to his age and poor health.

*Richard Ford, the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of “Independence Day” and “The Lay of the Land,” has switched publishers for his next three books. Ford, 63, will work with Ecco, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers, ending his 17-year relationship with Alfred A. Knopf, The New York Times reports.
