CHECK IT OUT IF YOU … need to jump-start your fitness plan, need to chill out or need to pretend it’s summer.
THE DEETS Here’s a little architecture/history lesson: The hotel was formerlythe Medinah Athletic Club, which housed a gymnasium, running track, bowling alley and golfing and archery ranges. The pool is the only element that survived. Today, the hotel’s fitness center spans three levels and includes dedicated cardio, aerobic and strength-training rooms. Personaltrainers and spa services also are available for an extra charge. The best part? You can get room service delivered to one of the poolside tables.
THE PAYOFF Urban oasis.
