“Dancing With the Stars” pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy is hanging up his dancing shoes to take some time off, an ABC rep tells people.com. Chmerkovskiy, who partnered with Laila Ali and Mel B. on the show, “just needs a break,” the rep says. “He is part of the ‘Dancing’ family, and he will be back.”
