TORNADO DEATH: A man in Tennessee died Monday, bringing to 57 the number of deaths from a tornado outbreak across the South this month. In Alabama, Gov. Bob Riley toured Prattville, where a tornado Sunday injured at least 50 people and damaged about 200 homes.

BREAKAWAY: Atlantis and its seven-member crew were homeward bound after leaving the International Space Station and checking the thermal casing of their ship Monday. A Wednesday landing is scheduled.

SOUP CHANGE: Campbell Soup Co.’s kid-oriented soups, which feature characters such as Dora the Explorer and Batman on the cans, are getting a 20 percent sodium reduction. The 12 soups will have 480 milligrams per serving, which means the company can legally label them as healthy foods for the first time.

APOLOGY SOUGHT: A national autism advocacy group is demanding an apology from CBS over a disparaging remark on the reality show “Big Brother.” In a Monday statement, CBS condemned the comments.
