Obama on YouTube
Will.i.am has Obama on the brain … and on YouTube — again.
The Black Eyed Peas frontman has released “We Are the Ones,” a video follow-up to his celebrity-studded “Yes We Can.”
In the latest installment, Jessica Alba, Regina King, George Lopez, Ryan Phillippe, Malcolm-Jamal Warner and others talk about why they support Obama over the chorus/chant “O-ba-ma, O-ba-ma.”
Meanwhile, an Us Weekly article on Obama generated the second-highest traffic ever for a single article on the magazine’s site, topped only by reports of Heath Ledger’s death, according to Women’s Wear Daily.
Excerpts from a “he’s just like us!” profile attracted 434,002 unique visitors and recorded more than 3.6 million page views in 12 hours, according to WWD.
Nude-itude
Risque photos of Oscar-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody (left) have surfaced online — and she posted them herself.
Cody, who won big at the Oscars for her “Juno” screenplay, mocked the hubbub about the photos on her MySpace blog. “What a tantalizing ‘scoop!’ ” she wrote. “Seriously, I thought nudity was only a scandal if the photos were leaked by some crumb-bum rat or vengeful ex.”
Cody, a former stripper who posted the photos online years ago, said she’d pose nude again despite her new celebrity.
“They can dress me up, they can give me awards, they can coach me on the right responses, and they can sand the calluses off my giant [bleeping] feet, but I will always be me,” she wrote. “And I will never be ashamed.”
Couple of cornballs
Comedic couple Will Arnett and Amy Poehler have yukked it up together in “Arrested Development” and “Blades of Glory.” But the pair’s laugh track doesn’t extend to their home, Arnett told the New York Daily News.
“If you took a snippet of our conversations, you’d be bored to tears,” Arnett said. “I’m the king of terrible groan jokes. Our mornings are a lot of Amy saying , ‘Oh God, that’s stupid.’ And she’d be right. I am an idiot savant … without the savant.”
OutKast on the court
In a one-on-one basketball game between Andre 3000 and Will Ferrell, you might want to bank on Ferrell. At least that’s what the OutKast rapper, who appears in this weekend’s Ferrell comedy “Semi-Pro,” would have you believe.
“To be honest, I’m probably the worst player out [there],” Andre told MTV.
Off the court, Andre will be getting back to his musical roots with a guest spot on John Legend’s new album as well as a solo album in the fall, MTV reports. But for now, the songs exist “only in my head,” he said.
“After I finish promoting ‘Semi-Pro,’ I’m going to the studio and kind of staying in there for a while,” he promised. “[I’ll] bang out something!”
Beauty secrets
You wouldn’t know it by looking at her, but the stunning Vanessa Williams (left) is about to turn 45.
The “Ugly Betty” star said she keeps in shape by doing yoga, and she works out every day, according to an interview with Access Hollywood.
But she admits she gets a little help from Botox — “I do it when I want to feel refreshed,” she said. And slenderizing undergarments come in handy too.
“There are certain areas that I have to camouflage,” Williams said. “I haven’t had a tummy tuck yet, so I have skin because I have been pregnant four times.
“On the red carpet, I’ve always got my Spanx from under-bust to mid-thigh.”
Strike a pose
Who wouldn’t like to see Tom Brady practically naked?
The New York Post’s Page Six reports the hot quarterback (left) may be appearing in his boxers or briefs, as he is reportedly in talks to be an underwear model for Calvin Klein. A company rep did not comment.
First David Beckham stripping down for Armani, now this.
Maybe Gisele Bundchen can teach him a thing or two about posing in underwear.
