*Nissan is recalling 16,365 2006 Murano and 2008 Infiniti EX35 SUVs to fix incorrectly programmed air-bag software. 3-24-08
*Ford is recalling 124,000 2007-08 Expedition and Lincoln Navigator SUVs to fix the spring system in the door that can keep interior handles from closing.2-17-08
*Ford is recalling more than 57,000 2006-07 E-150, E-250 and E-350 vans and 2007 Expedition and Navigator SUVs with 5.4-liter engines to reroute the fuel rail crossover hose. 2-17-08
*Volvo is recalling 82,000 2004-06 S40 and V50 models with 5-cylinder gas engines over a rust problem in the fuel pump electronic module. 2-10-08
*Ford is recalling about 225,000 vehicles fixed in a 10 million vehicle action to repair the cruise-control deactivation switch. Defective wiring harnesses will be replaced on 1992-2003 Ford E-Series vans; 1993-95 Ford Taurus SHOs; 1992-98 Ford Crown Victoria and Mercury Grand Marquis sedans; 1992-95 Lincoln Town Cars; 1993 Ford Broncos and gas-powered Super Duty pickups; and 1995-97 gas-powered Ford Super Duty stripped chassis. 2-10-08
*Ford is recalling 1.17 million 1997-2003 E-Series vans, Excursion SUVs and F-450 and F-550 Super Duty trucks with 7.3-liter diesel engines to fix a sensor. 12-16-07
*Volvo is recalling 18,000 2008 V70 and XC70 models because the side air bags may not deploy fast enough. 12-2-07
*Nissan is recalling 653,910 more 2002 and 2005-06 Sentra and Altima sedans with 2.5-liter engines to fix a faulty crankshaft sensor.. 11-25-07
*BMW is recalling 29,250 2005-06 5- and 6-Series cars and X5 SUVs with V-8 engines to fix an electronic control unit. 10-28-07
*Chrysler is recalling 125,000 2007-08 Sebring and Dodge Avenger cars with 2.4-liter engines over a problem with the cooling fan motor connector. 10-14-07
*Volkswagen is recalling 340,000 2005-08 Jetta and 2006-08 Rabbit, GTI and R32 cars because the headlights don’t meet safety standards. 10-7-07
