6 DEAD: Authorities said Monday that the bodies of six people, including two children, were found at a Memphis home. Three other children were hospitalized in critical condition. All nine were gunshot victims. There was no information about motive or suspects.
LOCKDOWNS: Appalachian State University locked down its North Carolina campus briefly Monday after a man was reported carrying a gun. Earlier, police questioned a man who carried a gun into Middle Georgia College. No shots were fired and no one was hurt at either school.
