It was all a big misunderstanding.
That’s actress Bai Ling’s explanation for her behavior last month when she allegedly took batteries and two Star magazines from a store at Los Angeles International Airport without paying for them, The Associated Press reports.
“What happened was an innocent mistake on my part and I am confident that the truth will be told since I never had any intention of taking items without paying for them,” she wrote on her blog Monday.
She faces a $250 fine for allegedly shoplifting $16.22 worth of items. Her arraignment was scheduled for Wednesday.
