Girls meet boys
Brooklyn-based dance troupe Urban Bush Women goes coed with a joint performance with Compagnie JANT-BI, an all-male dance company from Senegal. The groups, who met during overlapping residencies at Columbia College, debut “Les ecailles de la memoire (The scales of memory),” set to music by French composer Fabrice Bouillon. 8 p.m. Through Saturday. $24-$28. Eve Ensler’s controversial play “The Vagina Monologues” has been dropping jaws and getting laughs for years. Thursday’s 90-minute revival features 12 actresses portraying characters ranging from an ecstatically multi-orgasmic gal to a Bosnian rape camp victim. The performance includes raffles, live auctions and craft booths to raise funds for V-Day, a movement to prevent violence against women and girls. 7 p.m. Through Friday. $20.
