Lanes reopen on Congress Pkwy.
Three westbound lanes on the Congress Parkway bridge over the Chicago River downtown were closed Wednesday as crews completed repairs of rough spots in the steel-grate decking that could damage vehicle tires, officials said. To keep traffic away from workers, all but one of the westbound lanes were closed, snarling traffic traveling over the bridge to access the Eisenhower, Kennedy and Dan Ryan Expressways. All westbound lanes were open as of 5:30 p.m., officials said.

Woman last seen at O’Hare OK
A woman reported missing after arriving on a flight at O’Hare more than a week ago contacted her family Wednesday, Chicago police said. Sumei Hu, 38, was reported missing on Feb. 26 after returning from a long visit with her family in China. Hu’s husband, Steven Frasch, waited for her in the international terminal for more than an hour after her plane landed, but she disappeared. Chicago police said the woman is no longer considered a missing person.
