Michael John Mousel, age 64, of Tucson, Arizona, and formerly Des Plaines and Chicago, Illinois, died on Feb. 5, 2008, in Tucson after a courageous six-year battle with multiple myeloma.
He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth “Betsy” nee Deskovich; admiring son, Daniel and adoring daughter, Patricia.
Also survived by his sister, Janice Bednarz (Greg) of Arlington Heights; numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews and countless friends in Arizona and Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Bernice Mousel.
Mike retired in Oct. 2005, after 43 years of service with JPMorgan Chase in Chicago, Mt. Prospect and Tucson, Arizona.
He will be remembered by customers and colleagues alike for his integrity and honesty.
Mike’s family and friends will remember him for many things, but primarily for his positive outlook despite his disease and for the joy he got from spending time with those he loved.
Mike was loved dearly, and he will be greatly missed.
Memorial Services Saturday, March 8, 1 p.m. at Friedrichs FuneralHome, 320 W. Central Rd., at Northwest Hwy., Mt. Prospect.
