Project Runway winner Christian Siriano knows the first purchase he’ll make with his $100,000 prize: A bed.
And then Siriano, the 22-year-old whiz kid who until recently slept on a mattress in his itty bitty New York apartment, will get back to the hard business of fashion.
In an interview with people.com, Siriano said he made a few dresses for Victoria Beckham, a judge at the finale and a fan of his, and he plans to show them to her when they meet next week.
The confident Siriano is back after his quivering chin gave away his nerves just before the winner was announced Wednesday night.
“I’m glad I got to show my emotions on the stage and in front of people because I’ve been sassy and really confident the whole season,” Siriano said. “I was so emotional because I was like, ‘Oh my god, what if I win? This is going to change my life.’ “
