*The My Sister’s Dress Project is collecting new and gently used formal gowns and accessories for distribution to help teens attend prom. Donations of formal shoes, jewelry, shawls and gowns will be accepted through March 21 at the following McHenry County businesses: American Community Bank locations in Crystal Lake, McHenry and Woodstock; Big Brothers-Big Sisters of McHenry County in McHenry; and Star 105 in Crystal Lake. The sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 5 and 6 at McHenry County College. All proceeds will benefit Big Brothers-Big Sisters of McHenry County.
