Heath Ledger’s ex, Michelle Williams, describes the late actor as “vulnerable,” “beautiful” and “masculine.”
“I think the interesting thing about Heath, which maybe people have only fully discovered in his death, is how vulnerable he was,” Williams said of Ledger in the April issue of Interview magazine.
“It’s easy to overlook because he was so physical and beautiful and strong and masculine,” she said. “But there was always that underlying sensitivity. That’s who he was.”
Williams adds that Ledger, who died of a prescription drug overdose in January, had struggled with insomnia “for as long as I’d known him. … He had too much energy.”
