*Pop-rock trio The Jonas Brothers will be featured in their own reality series on The Disney Channel, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The series will follow the lives of Kevin, Joe and Nick — ages 20, 18 and 15, respectively — and will debut in spring.
*Coldplay’s fourth album, “Viva la Vida,” will arrive June 17 in North America and a day earlier overseas, a band representative said.
*”Buffy the Vampire Slayer” alum Michelle Trachtenberg will appear in some May sweeps episodes of The CW’s “Gossip Girl,” The Hollywood Reporter notes. Trachtenberg will play Georgina Sparks, a role reportedly turned down by former “The O.C.” star Mischa Barton.
*Don’t you just love it when a good plan comes together? The John Singleton-directed “The A-Team” movie is set for release June 12 of next year. Casting has not yet been announced.
*Quincy Jones will receive an honorary doctorate at the University of Washington commencement, where the musician-composer-producer-arranger will speak on June 14.
