T.I. got his wish: He’ll be allowed to leave his home — he’s under house arrest — to attend services Sunday at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church.
A federal judge ruled Thursday that the 27-year-old rapper can be away from home from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, according to The Associated Press. T.I. is awaiting trial on weapons charges.
T.I. was arrested Oct. 13 hours before he was to headline the BET Hip-Hop Awards in Atlanta. He allegedly was trying to buy unregistered machine guns and silencers, leading to charges of possession of unregistered machine guns and silencers and possession of firearms by a convicted felon, the AP said.
