What do Obama Girl, Tay Zonday and crying Britney Spears fan Chris Crocker have in common?
They’re all nominated for the second annual YouTube Video Awards, the winners of which will be announced Friday on the site.
“These are the [videos] that really will stand out and over time,” YouTube spokesman Aaron Ferstman told The Associated Press about the six nominees in each of 12 categories. Check it out at youtube.com/ytawards07.
Twelve winners will score a trophy, Ferstman said, in the categories of music, sports, comedy, instructional, short film, inspirational, commentary, creative, politics, series, eyewitness and “adorable.”
