A concertgoer who says he was kicked and beaten at a Fall Out Boy show last year filed a lawsuit Wednesday against band member Pete Wentz and Schubas Tavern.
Andy Kallas contends Wentz and members of his security team or entourage surrounded him in the early hours of June 12 and beat him “for several minutes” at the club on the North Side, the Tribune reports.
Kallas says he didn’t provoke the incident and suffered injuries to his head and face, according to the suit filed in Cook County Circuit Court. Wentz and Schubas’ officials could not be reached Wednesday. But Wentz told MTV News in an e-mail last year that he reacted in self-defense at the show after a heckler grabbed him.
