Kate Hudson may be at the top of People magazine’s list of 100 Most Beautiful People, but she doesn’t remember the last time she got a manicure or facial.
The 29-year-old mom of 4-year-old Ryder, her son with the Black Crowes’ Chris Robinson, told People magazine that “I even got to the point where I started waxing my own legs because I don’t have the time. I’d rather be home with Ryder sitting there waxing my legs.”
Also on the list, according to a sneak peek released on people.com:
– Mary J. Blige
– Salma Hayek
– Isla Fisher
– Tony Parker
– Sarah Silverman
– Taylor Swift
– Rumer Willis

Sitting (very) pretty
Who said strutting down the runway isn’t hard work? Well, at least it pays well.
Forbes.com issued its 2008 list of the World’s Top-Earning Models, naming Gisele Bundchen as top model for the $35 million she earned over the past 12 months. The tally included her now-expired Victoria’s Secret contract as well as a deal to be the new face of Pantene.
“Project Runway’s” Heidi Klum is second-best. She banked $14 million as host of Germany’s version of “America’s Next Top Model,” and from campaigns with Diet Coke, Jordache and Mouawad jewelry, Forbes reported.

Concert fallout
A concertgoer who says he was kicked and beaten at a Fall Out Boy show last year in Chicago filed a lawsuit Wednesday against band member Pete Wentz and Schubas Tavern.
Andy Kallas contends Wentz and members of his security team or entourage surrounded him in the early hours of June 12 and beat him “for several minutes” at the North Side club.
Kallas says he didn’t provoke the incident and suffered injuries to his head and face, according to the suit filed in Cook County Circuit Court.
Wentz and Schubas officials could not be reached Wednesday.
But Wentz told MTV News in an e-mail last year that he reacted in self-defense at the show after a heckler grabbed him.

Smirnoff puts breakup rumors on ice
Breakup? What breakup?
“Dancing With the Stars” pro Karina Smirnoff and boyfriend Mario Lopez shot down reports that they’ve split.
“You know, everybody goes through ups and downs,” Smirnoff told Us Weekly. “But Mario and I are going strong.” Said Lopez to E! News: “It’s all good.”
Smirnoff and Lopez both have had to deflect rumors of a budding romance between Smirnoff and her current dancing partner, singer Mario. Last month Smirnoff told Us Weekly that she and Mario-the-singer “have a completely professional relationship.”
Smirnoff and Lopez were dance partners during Season 3.
