“Superbad” stands to take home several trophies at the upcoming MTV Movie Awards — if fans show it some love.

The super popular comedy won the most nominations in the list released Tuesday on mtv.com.

“Superbad” picked up five nods altogether, in the categories of best movie, best comedic performance (Jonah Hill) and three nominations in the best newcomer category (for Jonah Hill, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Michael Cera).

Cera’s other movie, “Juno,” also was a heavy contender. It was nominated for best movie, best male performance (Cera), best female performance (Ellen Page), and best kiss (Cera and Page).

Fans can vote until May 23 by visiting movieawards.mtv.com. Hosted by Mike Myers, the show will be broadcast live June 1.
