Common is getting a lot of action — Hollywood movie action, that is.
The Chicago rapper-turned-actor, who is in this summer’s action-packed “Wanted,” has joined the cast of “Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins,” the fourth installment of the franchise, Entertainment Weekly reports.
The story follows a grown John Connor (played by Christian Bale) as he leads humans in the war against the machines. Common will play an aide to Connor. “Terminator Salvation” will be directed by McG and is set for a May 22, 2009, release.
