Cedric Benson. The Bears running back was slapped with misdemeanor charges of boating while intoxicated and resisting arrest after an incident last Saturday in Austin, Texas. Police used pepper spray to detain him. Benson, 25, denied being drunk, and his account of the incident varies greatly from the police version. He is due in court May 19. The incident has further clouded his future with the Bears.

Hillary Clinton. The former first lady vowed to remain in the Democratic presidential race “until there’s a nominee,” despite the mounting number of superdelegates siding with rival Barack Obama. Out of cash, Clinton, who won the Indiana primary Wednesday, has loaned her campaign an additional $6.4 million. If that weren’t enough, Former Sen. George McGovern, an early Clinton supporter, this week urged her to drop out of the race and endorsed Obama.
