FEDERAL HEARING: After police acquittals in the New York shooting death of Sean Bell that led to citywide protests, a federal judiciary panel at a public forum Monday will explore nationwide officer misconduct and accountability. The Bell case is part of a larger social concern over policing that will be discussed during the House Judiciary Committee’s forum in New York City, according to Rep.
