It’s wedding season, people, and Hollywood is getting into it. The latest union, however, managed to duck the typical pre-wedding rumor mill.

Jessica Alba secretly married Cash Warren on Monday afternoon, according to People, and Alba rep Brad Cafarelli confirmed it to the magazine.

Alba and Warren, who reportedly met while filming “Fantastic Four,” filed for a marriage license at a Beverly Hills courthouse late Monday morning, People reported Tuesday. After the papers were filed, a courthouse staff member married them.

The parents-to-be were “casually dressed,” with the bride sporting a ponytail and “long blue dress.” The groom opted for “a white shirt and brown pants,” according to details on people.com. The wedding took place in the courtroom’s ceremony room which is decorated with “an arch of green silk foliage and white flowers.” The couple’s first child is due soon.

The final ‘Idol’ sing-off

David Archuleta will be the next “American Idol” — if the judges are right, that is.

The teen crooner delivered a “knockout,” Simon Cowell said. “The best singer of Season 7 is right there,” Randy Jackson proclaimed Tuesday night. And Paula Abdul: “You’ve left me speechless.” Then she kept talking.

In the much-hyped final “Idol” singoff, Archuleta faced rocker David Cook, whom Simon picked to win the title just last week in an interview on blender.com.

All it took to change his mind was an arguably flawless night by Archuleta, who sang Elton John’s “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me,” John Lennon’s “Imagine” and “In This Moment,” a song submitted as part of “Idol’s” songwriting contest. Cook countered with “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” by U2, Collective Soul’s “The World I Know” and “Dream Big,” another songwriter submission.

The winner will be announced Wednesday in a two-hour spectacular.

Rock star honeymoon

Yes, Pete Wentz said Tuesday, he and Ashlee Simpson signed a prenup, but married life has been good so far.

“I feel great,” the Fall Out Boy rocker told Ryan Seacrest on Seacrest’s radio show. “It is sunny and 65 in my head.”

As for their “honeymoon,” Wentz said the newlyweds are hanging out together in their L.A. basement: “We got some blow-up palm trees. A little fake-n-bake tanning booth. We’re eating DiGiorno’s pizza,” according to excerpts on Us Weekly.

Seacrest repeatedly asked Wentz about rumors that Simpson is pregnant. Wentz countered that the two had been planning their wedding “for a long time” and that “this baby [rumor] has not been confirmed.”
