‘Ocean’s Eleven’
7 p.m., TCM
The source of the remake with George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts, this 1960 classic was a prime showcase for the group of performers led by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr., gathered here in a caper about the New Year’s Eve robbery of several Las Vegas casinos simultaneously. Peter Lawford and Joey Bishop also appear.
‘Criminal Minds’
8 p.m., WBBM-Ch. 2
Any profiler can find a serial killer with a pattern — such as targeting a certain type of victim. It takes a real pro to track down a murderer whose killings are random and whose victims apparently have nothing in common. But never fear: This team is all pros. Joe Mantegna and Thomas Gibson star.
‘CSI: NY’
9 p.m., WBBM-Ch. 2
CSIs are supposed to turn up after the crime, not in the middle of it. But Mac (Gary Sinise) is in the thick of things when a bank manager is shot dead during a robbery. One of the thieves takes the bank’s occupants hostage at gunpoint but insists he didn’t kill the manager, and he wants a crime scene investigator to come in and prove it. Melina Kanakaredes and Carmine Giovinazzo also star.
‘Law & Order’
9 p.m., WMAQ-Ch. 5
A jeweler is killed after exposing his brother-in-law’s ties to a call-girl operation called the Excalibur Club. A deposit made to the victim’s bank account helps Lupo and Bernard (Jeremy Sisto, Anthony Anderson). The trial phase poses a threat to McCoy’s (Sam Waterston) job.
‘Boston Legal’
9 p.m., WLS-Ch. 7
Concord, Mass., cradle of the American Revolution, wants to secede from the U.S.? Denny (William Shatner) is appalled — and even more so when he finds out Alan (James Spader, left) is representing the secessionists. He signs on with the other side, and the two friends face off in court — which puts a damper on their celebration of their acceptance into the Auxiliary Coast Guard.
