Ten years of marriage is about as rare as wrinkled foreheads in Hollywood, but Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have made it that far because, as Smith says, divorce is not an option.
Smith explained on Monday’s episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” that he thinks the problem with L.A. marriages is “there are so many options. So a huge part of the success for [Jada] and I is that we just removed the other options,” he said, according to excerpts on people.com.
Meanwhile, DeGeneres suggested Smith jump into politics, according to the excerpts.
“I do think about [running for office] sometimes,” Smith said. “Right up until that Monday after the movie opens and I have a 100 percent approval rating. No politician is ever going to have that.”
Reality check, Will: No actor in “Wild Wild West” is going to have that either.
