While there’s no lack of new restaurants, there may be a lack of good names for them. Some of the most-anticipated spots this season still haven’t settled on a moniker. You’ve probably already heard about the Belgian-inspired upscale gastropub-type joint from the guys behind Blackbird and Avec. Planned for a late July opening at 845 W. Fulton Market, it will offer rustic fare with an emphasis on pork, plus a killer beer selection. But the meatier scoop is the Wicker Park sibling to Tango Sur, everyone’s favorite Argentinean BYOB. The menu at the spot, planned for 2100 W. Division St., will be similar to Lakeview’s steak-happy original, but this one will have a liquor license when it opens in late summer. Finally, there’s still no name — nor many other details — for the new place folks at Cafe Lula are planning in Pilsen (2119 S. Halsted St.). Don’t expect Lula 2 — this place will be dinner-only. It’s slated to open during what the folks at Lula call “Maytember” (Maybe September). Keep an eye on metromix.com for updates.
