LL Cool J, you got punk’d!
The Queens rapper was a guest Tuesday on Eminem’s Sirius Satellite Radio station, Shade 45, when a caller who identified himself as “Jason from Miami” rang in.
The caller challenged L to name classic Cool J songs, based on lyrics the caller recited on air.
L recognized the caller’s renditions of “Eat Em Up L Chill” and “My Rhyme Ain’t Done,” mtv.com reports.
“You sound good saying them joints. Damn, B,” L said, according to mtv.com excerpts. “That sounds like you need to write some bars, homie.”
That’s when the caller, who turned out to be Eminem, launched into his own song, “Lose Yourself,” revealing the joke.
“Listen, man, you got this relationship with Dre,” Eminem said. “You’re cool with 50, so when are we gonna hang out? I got cable at my house, and the game is on.”
