* Many hours rain-free–but scattered showers or t-storms may accompany a late morning/early afternoon frontal passage.

* Much like Friday, daytime heating threatens some hail, gusty winds and downpour-generating thunderstorms, especially near Chicago into the south suburbs. Some severe weather warnings may become necessary with heavier storms.
