William Petersen is leaving “CSI,” ew.com reports, but he’s not going away entirely. “He will remain throughout the run of the series [as] an executive producer,” executive producer Carol Mendelsohn tells the site. “And he will, whenever CBS asks, come back. I don’t think you’ve seen the last of Gil Grissom.”
