In case you missed it, Khloe Kardashian is a free woman.

The younger sister of Kim Kardashian and a fixture on the E! reality series “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” was processed and released from a Lynwood, Calif., jail Friday after serving fewer than three hours of a 30-day sentence in a DUI case, people.com reports.

Was it a certified celeb-carceration? Considering it took place at the same facility in which celebutante Paris Hilton did her stint behind bars, it wasn’t far off. Especially since Kardashian spent mere hours in the clink — reportedly because of overcrowding issues at the jail.

But celebrity lockdowns aren’t always short and sweet. Take a look at these memorable celebrity detention scandals, compiled from People magazine and TMZ archives.
