A Chicago woman was killed and a man wounded when shots were fired into a bar in the 800 block of North Ashland Avenue in the Ukrainian Village neighborhood early Sunday.
Margarita Bunuelos, 38, of the 6000 block of North Hermitage Avenue was shot in the abdomen and was pronounced dead at 3:48 a.m. in Stroger Hospital.
The 19-year-old man was shot in the hand and was listed in fair condition at Stroger, police said. Police said the gunman ran from Alfredo’s Bar.
Bunuelos had lived with her three children in Edgewater.
