BEARS HITS
John St. Clair is playing left tackle while rookie Chris Williams’ back heals. “It’s tough, but it’s one of those things that I’ve been doing all my career, even back in college when I was a tight end and they moved me to center, then back to the O-line,” St. Clair said. “It’s a blessing, but at the same time it’s hard.”
– Rookie TE Kellen Davis makes an impression at 6-foot-7, 262 pounds. “You notice him,” coach Lovie Smith said. “He looks the part. But you have to play. He definitely has made his presence felt.”
– Corey Graham, filling in at right cornerback while Charles Tillman was excused for personal reasons, was beaten by Brandon Lloyd for a 35-yard TD pass from Kyle Orton. But he came back on the next play to pick off an underthrown ball intended for TE Greg Olsen, one of two interceptions for the day.
