* Temperatures rise into the lower 70s by midday.

* Scattered fluffy fair-weather cumulus clouds form later in the morning.

* Northeast winds 5 to 10 m.p.h. hold shoreline temps in the lower 70s during the afternoon; inland readings reach the mid-to-upper 70s.
