As a teenage lifeguard on Martha’s Vineyard, Jake Gyllenhaal found himself in at least one sticky situation.

“Someone got stung by a jellyfish, and I peed on their leg to counteract the sting. Otherwise, [my summer] was pretty tame,” Gyllenhaal told the New York Post. Post columnist Cindy Adams recounted how celebrities spent summer vacations as kids. Some highlights:

– As a teen, Liz Phair (above) was fond of “drinking and driving around in a convertible Volkswagen Rabbit in Winnetka.”

– David Duchovny (above) had to enforce the no-topless bathing rule as a lifeguard. “[I had] to go tell the ladies to cover up. You’d think that was cool, but at 14 it was mortifying. They’d then cover their nipples with shells. I mean, the last thing a teenage kid wants is to debate with a half-naked woman.”

Celeb stylist’s thin line

Celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe makes no secret of her lax health habits.

“I’m a textbook definition of that perfectionist girl who has huge expectations of herself,” she tells Harper’s Bazaar. “It’s hard for me to take care of myself, let’s put it that way. I am my last priority.”

The notoriously skinny Zoe, who once styled Nicole Richie and is blamed by some for promoting thinness, posed for a photo shoot in the mag’s September issue. The magazine altered at least one photo to make her appear transformed from a Size 0 to a Size 8.

That’s what she said

Heidi Klum is expanding her repertoire.

The “Project Runway” host is temporarily ditching her trademark “One day you’re in, and the next day, you’re out” for another famous line.

Klum and several other celebrities are being filmed reciting famous TV catchphrases for a video montage to be shown during the 60th Primetime Emmy Awards on Sept. 21, an ABC rep told RedEye Monday.

The rep wouldn’t say which lines Klum or the others will speak, but since the Emmys are celebrating 60 years, no doubt there’ll be some oldies.

Wouldn’t it be funny, though, to hear Heidi yell: “Oh my God, they killed Kenny!” or “Eat my shorts.”

‘90210’ without Tori?

The new “90120” spinoff hasn’t even aired an episode yet and already there’s drama surrounding the cast.

E! Online reported Monday that Tori Spelling has pulled out of the show, allegedly after learning other cast members were making more money.

Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth, Spelling’s co-stars in the original series, were signed for $40,000 to $50,000 an episode; Spelling would have earned less than $20,000 an episode, eonline.com reports.

“The CW has no deal with Tori Spelling to appear on 90210 at this time,” a CW rep confirmed to E!

Spelling’s rep agreed: “At this point there are no plans for Tori to appear on the 90210 spinoff.”

‘I’m not going to talk about Lindsay because she’s my friend, you know? With the Internet the way it is, one second we’re enemies, one second we’re best friends, one second we’re lovers, and then we’re broken up.’
