*SOCCER: A UEFA Cup qualifying match in the Georgia capital of Tbilisi was canceled because of safety concerns after recent attacks by Russia. The two-match event will now be one and played in Vienna on Aug. 28.

*HORSE RACING: Eight Belles will be interred at the Kentucky Derby Museum in Louisville on Sept. 7. The popular filly was euthanized after breaking both ankles in a second-place finish to Big Brown at the Derby.
