There are concerts, and then there are Madonna concerts.
The Material Girl kicked off her world tour Saturday in Wales, according to reports, showering audiences with multiple costume changes, flashy special effects and contributions by what sounds like just about every buzzworthy celeb this side of the gossip mill.
People magazine reports that Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears and Kanye West all make onscreen appearances during Madge’s “Sticky and Sweet” tour, which comes on the heels of her 50th birthday.
Husband Guy Ritchie did his part backstage, too, according to Madonna’s rep, who said over the weekend that the singer worked on her moves till the very end.
Why?
“She’s a perfectionist,” the rep says.
That’s one way of putting it. Madonna’s no spring chicken when it comes to the biz, especially when it comes to staying relevant. So how does she do it? RedEye just got the (highly unscientific) results back from the lab. Take a look!
