Guinness Oyster Fest

The basics: We’re not thrilled that summer is over, but this fall kickoff helps take the edge off. Salute the season with fresh-shucked oysters and pints of Guinness and Harp while dancing to live music from L.A. alt-rockers Carolina Liar, rapper and rock singer Everlast and more. Don’t like oysters? Additional eats are available.

Italian Village Ferrari Festival

Love pasta? Have a fancy-car fetish? Kill two birds with one stone. Inside the restaurant, hit a buffet of Italian fare. Outside, ogle a display of more than 50 award-winning Ferraris along Monroe Street from Clark to Dearborn Streets. 11 a.m. Sunday. $25. Vivere, 71 W. Monroe St.

FREE! Pullman Hobo Fest

This old timey celebration includes food, music, crafts and folk singing at locations surrounding the Historic Pullman Foundation Visitor Center and Historic District. Noon Saturday-Sunday. 11141 S. Cottage Grove Ave.

Ukrainian Village Fest

A neighborhood church’s grounds turn into a beer garden and food court, offering ethnic fare, live music and raffle prizes. 5 p.m. Friday; 1 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. Free on Friday; $5 Saturday-Sunday. Saints Volodymyr and Olha Ukrainian Catholic Church, 2245 W. Superior St.

Windy City Wine Festival
