PRISON RIOT: Mexican authorities Monday quelled a riot at a Tijuana prison that left three inmates dead and at least 31 prisoners and officials injured.
MISSILE TEST: North Korea has carried out an engine ignition test for a long-range missile, a South Korean newspaper reported Tuesday. The test of the Taepodong-2 missile took place earlier this year, the Chosun Ilbo reported.
