Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

If the ringing in your ears from Saturday night’s rock show usually leaves you wanting more, check out one of these Sunday-morning music brunches. Whether you’re looking to relax with some smooth jazz or want to keep the party going while a DJ spins house, these brunch spots keep the tunes flowing well into Sunday afternoon.

Cuatro

2030 S. Wabash Ave. 312-842-8856

The food: Flashy South Loop spot Cuatro gives breakfast classics a Latin American twist at its weekly bossa nova brunch. Try riffs on traditional brunch items such as plantain- and farmer’s cheese-stuffed French toast ($9) or mix it up with prime rib chilaquiles ($13) or a torta de huevo ($7). Wash it all down with half-price forbidden fruit sangria ($5 glass).

The tunes: Brazilian trio Bossa Tres is a staple at Cuatro on Sundays. Mostly, the conversation flows naturally while they croon ballads in the background, but diners have been known to dance when the mood strikes.

Brunch time: 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sundays; music 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Dick’s Last Resort

435 E. Illinois St. 312-836-7870

The food: Sure, it has a rep as a tourist haunt and a magnet for suburbanites, but on Sundays this longstanding Streeterville spot has something for everyone. For $22.99, Dick’s hooks you up with unfettered access to an all-you-can-eat buffet complete with a waffle station, made-to-order omelets and a chocolate fountain. Don’t miss the bloody mary bar ($7.50), where you can pick your vodka and load up on extras such as celery, cheese, pickles and sausage.

The tunes: Cover band The Cavern Beat stages an all-out British invasion with renditions of popular Beatles tunes. Though Dick’s is set to relocate to a new River North location (315 N. Dearborn St.) within the next few weeks, we’ve been assured that the Beat will go on.

Brunch time: 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday

Par Lounge

1415 N. Milwaukee Ave. 773-252-6410

The food: The Sunday Funday brunch at Wicker Park’s Par Lounge may have a cheesy name, but it’s hard to find anything wrong with a full breakfast, lunch and dinner menu with prices averaging $5-$7. Drag yourself out of bed for pancakes and eggs or a salmon BLT — and don’t forget a round of $25 bottomless mimosas and bloody marys. You’ll have to sip and stay awhile to get your money’s worth, but that’s the whole point.

The tunes: Local DJs hit the decks and spin throughout brunch. You just might catch a preview of the next big thing, as the bar often uses brunch to test out talent for future events.

Brunch time: 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday

Bistro 110

110 E. Pearson St. 312-266-3110

The food: The New Orleans jazz brunch at this standby just off the Mag Mile features NOLA-themed dishes such as eggs Louisiana, a crab cake topped with poached eggs, hollandaise and Creole sauce ($16.95), and Grand Mother’s Frittata, eggs baked with bacon, mushrooms, onions, parsley and garlic ($14.95).

The tunes: Jazz group The Grady Johnson Trio lays down smooth grooves to help you ease into your morning.

Brunch time: 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday; music 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
