New program on the money

Visa’s new program, Practical Money Skills for Life, allows anyone to learn about financial literacy by playing online football at www.practicalmoneyskills.com/english/at(underscore)school/trainingcamp/.
Orton and Giannoulias recently appeared at Kenwood Academy to help spread the word about Visa’s program. Orton said it’s important for kids to know about money.
As a teen, Orton said he spent his money quickly. He said he wished he knew how hard it is to get out of debt.
Giannoulias said he wants Illinois to be a leader when it comes to financial literacy for students.
