Blue Jackets center Michael Peca has been suspended indefinitely by the NHL for making contact with an on-ice official during Friday’s game with the Stars.
Peca has appealed but will remain suspended pending a hearing to be scheduled next week.
*Anze Kopitar has signed a seven-year extension with the Kings, putting the 21-year-old center under contract through the 2015-16 season. Kopitar led the Kings with a career-high 77 points last year.
