After a scoreless game through two overtimes, the Huskies outscored the Broncos 5-4 in the shootout to win their third straight MSL Cup. Barrington, which also lost to Hersey in last year’s Cup, dropped to 16-5.

Nick Janus had a hat trick, Tim Kreutz had a goal and two assists and Andy Lynch added a goal and an assist to lead Lake Zurich (17-1-3, 7-0-1). Taao Scarnato made three saves in the shutout.
